|Hullo, there! I'm Lydia Nichols, an east coast-based illustrator, designer, and anthropomorphizer. I've gone to school twice (BFA in Illustration, Syracuse University, 2007 and MFA in Design, Tyler School of Art, 2013) because I'm a giant school-loving nerd and now I continue that love by doing a bit of adjunct teaching at fantastic places including MICA. For most of 2013, I pretended to be a San Franciscan, first as an art intern at Pixar and then while completing a Children's Design Fellowship at Chronicle Books. One year later, I'm happily back east where winters are cold and miserable (but snowy and beautiful), freelancing and occasionally painting murals. Tea drinking and reading are my favorite past times so if you're in the area, let's have a tea party and talk about our favorite books!|
